For clinics
Add the next service to your practice.
Run a recovery program, an online group or an employer-funded service with Cater. Your clinic gets patient apps, booking, payments and follow-up that work alongside Jane, PS Suite, Accuro or your existing practice system.
The free trial runs on the shared Cater app.
Build on the care you already provide
Paid programs, groups and employer contracts give the practice more ways to deliver and fund care. Ongoing follow-up connects those services between appointments.
Under your clinic’s name, and yours to keep
Your apps are published through your clinic’s App Store and Google Play accounts. The web address, texts and emails carry your name.
The custom work belongs to your clinic, so you can build on it as you add services. A working copy and your data remain yours if you leave. The organization responsible for your records stays responsible, with data export available throughout.
The same booking under two fictional clinic names, with the app icon, a text message and an email under each.
How the service runs in your clinic
Reception and booking.
Patients book, pay and complete forms online. Reception handles questions and exceptions, with training before launch and a direct route to our team for software issues.
Your practice system.
Run new bookings and payments on Cater or connect them to your main system. We plan the integration with you. Existing charts, provincial and insurer billing, and auto-insurance or workers’ compensation files stay in the systems that hold them.
Clinicians and messages.
Your practitioners set the care plans, check-in schedule and message routing. They review patients’ answers and decide what enters the chart. An optional AI assistant handles bookings and approved information, with clinical or urgent questions routed according to your protocol.
24/7 patient support.
Add human help by phone and in-app chat for setup, sign-in, bookings and payments. The team answers in your clinic’s name; clinical questions go to your practitioners. This is a separate service from software maintenance.
Languages and access.
English and French are included. Add languages such as Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu or Arabic, with right-to-left support where needed. Patients can use an app, web access or a text link. The interfaces follow WCAG 2.2 AA, with a lightweight option for older phones and weak connections.
Single sign-on.
Staff use your organization’s identity provider or Google, and patients can use Google or Apple. SSO is included on the shared app as well as branded apps.
See a clinic program in action
Fernwick Clinic’s fictional employer-funded recovery program. The patient confirms coverage, books the first session and answers a check-in from a text link. “See what the clinic sees” opens the physiotherapist’s list, the booking in a simulated practice system and the next scheduled check-in. A separate task shows ordering a recovery kit and tracking its delivery.
Interactive product preview. The clinic, patient and employer are fictional. Practice-system updates and delivery are simulated.

A trust and privacy centre for your clinic
Your patients can read how their information is used, where records are hosted, which service providers are involved and how AI is used. The centre also covers security, accessibility and privacy requests, under your clinic’s brand.
We keep the platform information current. You approve the privacy notice and clinical content. Patient records are hosted in Canada, with data-flow diagrams, security controls and the processing agreement available for your review.
